About

Envy My Life started as a joke among friends over dinner. The subject came up of crazy gossip that we had heard about ourselves and the vapid queens who live off of drama — and somebody finally said it: “They're just envious".
I had recently seen that .Life was an actual domain name. I checked if envymy.life was available and it was. Before we’d even ordered dessert, it was mine. I bought it on the spot, because clearly the universe wanted this to happen. Also, cocktails were involved and I'm known to make impulse purchases when I drink.
Now having this amazing domain name and not knowing what to do with it, I figured "why not actually make a business out of it".
I’ve always loved unique design, and advocating for independent artists is a passion of mine. The concept was born from an exaggerated, tongue-in-cheek caricature of the superficial way the envious bitches see me. So I leaned all the way in and became the new “Most Interesting Man in the World.”
Everything you’ll find here is something I actually own. The art is, quite literally, hanging in my home. This isn’t a brand built off a mood board — it’s what I’ve hunted down, fallen for, and refuse to part with, collected across a life spent always exploring.
I’ve spent my career developing luxury boutique hotels — historic properties, haciendas, beach cabanas, whatever beautiful old thing needed saving — which taught me plenty about design without ever labeling myself a designer. Consider this the hobby version: same eye, lower stakes, considerably more fun.
I have zero interest in mass-produced anything. I’d rather hand my money to some obsessive independent creator who actually gives a damn, than a warehouse that doesn’t. Call it taste, call it snobbery — I call it just not settling.
This was never really about building a brand. It’s just me sharing the things I love with people who might love them too — the same instinct behind every hotel I design: build it for myself first, then open the doors and hope you feel it too. I’m not trying to be a tastemaker, and I’m definitely not trying to be everything to everyone. This is just my taste, good or bad, out in the open, for the people who get it.
Above all, this is about living authentically. Envy My Life. Or don’t. I’ll be fine either way.
